British Comedy - a great way to enjoy wasting time......

My interest in collecting comedy goes back to the 1950s when as a child I listened to Radio shows like, Life with the Lyons, A Life of Bliss and Whacko! Later it was firmly fixed in my mind by The Navy Lark and The Clitheroe Kid.

I am going to try and introduce a blog that wont just cover Radio but will look at the MusicHall and Variety stars that have influenced Radio Comedy over the last fifty years. I spend a great deal of my spare time tracking and restoring lost radio shows and other other audio comedy and welcome any additions or help in this task. So wish me success because this will be a long term haul but should be fun! Look forward to any comments or requests you may wish to make.

Ian I am so sorry to hear this. I thought with Julie being much better that things would have settled down. Have you been lifting something heavy? Know you will be in my prayers my friend.

Hi Paula- very pretty! I'm afraid it'snot been a good day and I have lost half the power in my right hand.
Hopefully it will come back - hospital vampire visit in the morn
