My interest in collecting comedy goes back to the 1950s when as a child I listened to Radio shows like, Life with the Lyons, A Life of Bliss and Whacko! Later it was firmly fixed in my mind by The Navy Lark and The Clitheroe Kid. I am going to try and introduce a blog that wont just cover Radio but will look at the MusicHall and Variety stars that have influenced Radio Comedy over the last fifty years.
